Dad tries football (although he might get a better grip on the ball by putting his fingers on the laces), but Herbie works on his grip on his lollipop. Poor Dad has headaches, ringing in the ears, heartburn and depression. Dad is diagnosed with Herbyitis; he's got a little fat nothing for a son.

Hockey. In this story, Montrealer Roger Broughton and Dan Day insert detailed knowledge of hockey, including well known brands of equipment and a slap-pass resulting in a tip-in for a goal. Compared to Ogden Whitney's apparent lack of knowledge of baseball, it's a nice touch. Still, that looks more like a golf swing than something from hockey.
